Principal's Message

A Message from Dr. Golden, Principal 

I am eagerly anticipating the 2024-2025 academic year! I am eager to establish and sustain an educational environment that is both effective and impactful for all students and staff members at Banneker High School. I would be remiss not to acknowledge the exceptional performance of our students and staff last school year, as we anticipate another exceptional year. We are proud of our significant accomplishments. I am eager to share these remarkable results with you once our district has received and disseminated all milestone data.  
 
This year, our objective is to motivate and equip each student with the necessary tools to realize their highest potential. Our goal is to establish and sustain a school community in which all students are valued, respected, and motivated to reach their highest potential. When the family, school, and community are united, all students can achieve at high levels. At Banneker, we are a unified team of educators who are dedicated to ensuring that our students reach their highest potential and graduate with the necessary skills to be successful members of our community and the global community.  
 
Our students and staff will continue to excel in all areas through collaboration. I am dedicated to shared decision-making. I am dedicated to the empowerment of both students and staff to achieve their highest potential. I am always an advocate for my students. My objective is to guarantee that each student at Banneker has an engaging and impactful educational experience daily. To achieve academic and social success, this learning must be rigorous, engaging, challenging, differentiated, and meaningful.
